The 1000 Lives Network has been given a small pot of money to award as community matched funding to community based groups or organisations for a new project which involves people as volunteers, especially those who are not currently active in their communities.
You can apply for up to £1000. The total fund available is £4000 so we expect to fund at least four projects. There will be a second round of funding in spring 2014.
There are four different funding themes:
- Young People,
- Outdoors and/or Food,
- Facing Poverty
- General Theme.
Every project, under all the themes, must:
- support the Five Ways to Wellbeing
- be organised by or with local people and benefit a range of local people
- encourage people to take part in community action, in NEW ways
- encourage people to join the 1000 Lives Network
For full details please see the Community Matched Funding page.
