1000 Lives Partners Network brings together organisations which employ volunteers as community champions and organisations which want to develop community champions.
The Partners Network share resources, to reduce duplication and plug the gaps in support for community champions. This includes opening up training to Friends of the 1000 Lives Network, offering meeting and training space, and sharing knowledge and expertise with staff from other organisations.
Taking part in the 1000 Lives Partners Network, your organisation will benefit from being part of a City Movement and access new opportunities for delivery within the wider Social Action for Health agenda – an investment that will pay off!
Your Community Champions who join the Network can develop new skills and develop greater confidence, adding to their confidence, ability and employability,
If you do not already employ volunteer community champions, you might want to consider it. Encouraging Community Champions can provide added value activities that support your services right into the heart of the community, passing on key messages, signposting or even organising local events.
